ROSSINI FESTIVAL ITALIAN STREET FAIR
SATURDAY, APRIL 9 - 11AM-9PM
BJ Alumbaugh created this fine poster to promote one of Knoxville's most attended events, the Rossini Festival and Italian Street Fair. Yee-Haw will be manning a booth on the street directly in front of our shop. Come visit, shop and people-watch with us, all to the sound of arias and the aroma of stick food.
From their website:
Downtown Knoxville's Gay Street is transformed from a busy thoroughfare to a colorful Italian festival with four stages featuring a range of entertainment options, an upscale Artisan's Market, the smells and tastes of authentic Mediterranean foods and beverages and a special children's area on Market Square with entertainment, fun and games.

ART OPENING AND RECEPTION FOR PHOTOGRAPHER LORI KINCAID
In honor of spring, East Tennessee native and professional photographer Lori Kincaid's work will fill the front windows of Yee-Haw's downtown Knoxville Studio with photographs of the region.

OPENING RECEPTION
First Friday, April 1, 6-8PM
413 SOUTH GAY ST.
KNOXVILLE, TN 37920

Lori specializes in landscapes and flora of the Southern Appalachians. She thrives on hiking through rain, shine, sleet and snow in search of unique images that convey the mountains’ quiet intimacy and extraordinary beauty. Lori captures many of her photographs on 4- by 5-inch sheet film with an old-fashioned view camera, but she also employs 21st century digital technology when wind, light or other conditions dictate.

Her photography has been exhibited at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, published by the National Geographic Society, Sierra Club and Audubon Society, and featured in numerous national and regional books, calendars, magazines, and brochures. Lori teaches photography from her secluded mountaintop home near Max Patch on the Tennessee-North Carolina state line, where she is newly inspired each and every day. YEE-HAW PROFILED IN FIRST ISSUE OF REED PAGES
The long-awaited first official issue of Reed Pages has just come out, and Yee-Haw is honored to be featured in its pages among many other great artists and inventors. The magazine is available for perusal online, but we would encourage ordering a printed copy. Its large format and excellent photography make for a very inspiring magazine experience, not to mention that the excellent and tasteful design is not compromised by ugly advertisements.

According to jeffstaple, “Reed Pages is at the forefront of contemporary culture, art and design. It is dedicated to delivering inspirational, informative and authentic content. It brings together the new and the reinvented, the homegrown and the foreign, and the independents and the conglomerates.”
