ART OPENING AND RECEPTION FOR PHOTOGRAPHER LORI KINCAID
In honor of spring, East Tennessee native and professional photographer Lori Kincaid's work will fill the front windows of Yee-Haw's downtown Knoxville Studio with photographs of the region.

OPENING RECEPTION
First Friday, April 1, 6-8PM
413 SOUTH GAY ST.
KNOXVILLE, TN 37920

Lori specializes in landscapes and flora of the Southern Appalachians. She thrives on hiking through rain, shine, sleet and snow in search of unique images that convey the mountains’ quiet intimacy and extraordinary beauty. Lori captures many of her photographs on 4- by 5-inch sheet film with an old-fashioned view camera, but she also employs 21st century digital technology when wind, light or other conditions dictate.

Her photography has been exhibited at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, published by the National Geographic Society, Sierra Club and Audubon Society, and featured in numerous national and regional books, calendars, magazines, and brochures. Lori teaches photography from her secluded mountaintop home near Max Patch on the Tennessee-North Carolina state line, where she is newly inspired each and every day.
